No fewer than 43 people mostly men and youths were killed after Boko Haram attacked 5 villages in Borno state, June 10th.
The sect members, in their dozens, riding in a convoy of utility vehicles, stormed Matangle, Darmanti, Almeri and Burmari villages all in Damboa local government area of Borno state where they slaughtered people they came across.
Some of the fleeing residents said the insurgents burnt their homes after looting.
