Nigerian music sensation, Rema who emerged winner of the next rated category at the last Headies awards, has finally gone to pick up his prize, a brand new 2020 GAC car.
It should be recalled that at the 2019 Headies award, Rema beat artistes like Zlatan, Joeboy, FireBoy, Victor AD, and Lyta to win the Next Rated Category award.
According to the singer, who was recently in the news over his controversial date with a female fan, he had a quite busy schedule and that is the reason why he delayed the pickup.
“Due to the problems in the country and my busy schedule, I have not been able to come pick up the car. But right now, I am really laid back, so I had the time to come pick it up, big shoutout to HipTV for this one.So yeah, time to drive home.” he said as he received his brand new whip

The Next Rated award at the annual Headies is a highly coveted prize won by the ‘upcoming’ act who has shown the most promise in the year in review. Winners also get a car and join an influential ‘alumni’ of previous superstar winners.
