On Monday, August 3rd, the minister of state for Education who is regarded as Mr. Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba revealed that all 104 unity schools will reopen from tomorrow being August 4th.
At the time the meeting with stakeholders such as commissioners of Education in 36 states was about to end, he revealed that all SS3 students will resume from tomorrow being 4th of August, 2020.
Also, in the words of Ben Goong, director, press and public relations of the Federal Ministry of Education,
“From today, the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Permanent Secretary and Directors will embark on an assessment tour of all Unity Colleges to ascertain and confirm the reports they have received from the Principals of Unity Colleges."
