As tertiary institutions in Lagos State are about to resume from September 14, vice-chancellor of Lagos State University otherwise known as LASU has announced that students are to resume in batches.
Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, current vice-chancellor of LASU announced and confirmed this while speaking to a radio station in the early hours of today.
According to him, 600, 500, and 400 level students are to resume from September 14 and have intensive lectures for a period of 2 months before writing their exams.
Then, 100, 200, and 300 level students will resume afterwards, although 300 level students are to hold lectures only on Mondays and Wednesdays while 200 level students are to hold lectures on Tuesday and Thursdays.
The VC said the reason for this decision is to make sure social distancing are in order and the lives of students are safe.
