Coronavirus has hit the world at large and millions of people have been affected worldwide. Developed countries have been working so hard to produce a vaccine in helping to reduce the spread of the virus.
Russia, an eastern European country is officially the first country to produce a vaccine for the virus. The vaccine which is otherwise known as Sputnik was developed by the Gamaleya Research Center and according to President Vladimir Putin, his daughter has already been inoculated.
He also claimed that all necessary examinations on the vaccine are successful.
In the words of Mr. Putin,
“I would like to repeat that it has passed all the necessary tests.'' “The most important thing is to ensure full safety of using the vaccine and its efficiency.”
The vaccine is expected to be made available to the public from Ist January,2020.
