BBNaija Update: NCDC reports 100 new infections of coronavirus

On the 6th of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their twitter handle to report 100 new infections of coronavirus. 

From the report, Lagos State came out with 39 new infections while Abuja, the capital city came out with 22 new infections.

Kaduna, Oyo, and Ebonyi state came out with 19, 7and 6 new infections of coronavirus. The other states with new infections include; Edo-3 Katsina-1 Ekiti-1 Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.

Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 55,055 infections of coronavirus while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,057. Thankfully, the number of patients to have recovered from the virus has risen to 43,013.
