COVID-19 Update: NCDC reports 125 new infections of Coronavirus

On the 24th of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their twitter handle to report 125 new infections of coronavirus. 

From the report, Lagos State came out on top with 37 new infections while Plateau State and Abuja came out with 18 and 17 new infections respectively. The other states with new infections of coronavirus include; Ogun-15, Rivers-10, Benue-7, Kaduna-7, Anambra-5, Oyo-3, Cross River-2, Ondo-2, Edo-1, and Imo-1

Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 57,849 infections while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,102. Thankfully, the number of patients to have recovered from the virus has increased to 49,098.
