COVID-19 Update: NCDC reports 126 new infections of coronavirus

On the 27th of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their handle to report 126 new infections of coronavirus.

From the report, Abuja came out with 30 new infections while Lagos State and Lagos and Rivers state came out with 24 and 23 new infections. The other States with new infections include;

 State -13, Katsina – nine; Plateau – nine; Ondo – six; Kaduna – four; Kwara – four; Imo – two; Bauchi – one and  Edo – one.

Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 58,324 infections while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,108. Thankfully, a number of 49,794 have recovered from the virus.
