COVID-19 Update: NCDC reports 136 new infections of coronavirus

On the 26th of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their twitter handle to report 136 new infections of coronavirus. 

According to their report, Lagos State came out on top with 41 new infections while Ogun state and Rivers came out with 27 and 19 new infections. 

The other states with new infections of coronavirus include;  Abia-10, Oyo-6, Plateau-6, Bauchi-5, Ondo-5, Ekiti-4, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ebonyi-2, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1, Osun-1, and Yobe-1. 

Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 58,198 infected persons while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,106. Thankfully, a number of 49,722 have recovered from the virus.
