On the 22nd of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their twitter handle to report 176 new infections of coronavirus.
From the report, Lagos state came out on top with 73 new infections while Plateau and Abuja came out with 50 and 17 new infections respectively.
The other states with new infections of coronavirus include; Rivers-8, Ondo-6, Niger-5, Ogun-5, Edo-3, Kaduna-3, Oyo-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1, and Nasarawa-1.
Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 57,613 while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,100. Thankfully, a number of 48,836 has recvered from the virus.
