COVID-19 Update: NCDC reports 187 new infections of coronavirus

On the 29th of September, 2020, Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) took to their twitter handle to report 187 new infections of coronavirus. 

From the report, Lagos state came out with 74 new infections while Plateau state and Rivers state both came out with 25 new infections of coronavirus. 

The other states with new infections include; Gombe-19, FCT-19, Osun-10, Kaduna-5, Borno-3, Ogun-2, Katsina-2, Nasarawa-1, Bayelsa-1, and Edo-1. 

Currently, NCDC has reported a total number of 58,647 infections of coronavirus while the fatality rate has slightly increased to 1,111. Fortunately, a number of 49,937 patients have recovered from the virus.
