Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner, Laycon has disclosed his plans for N30 million cash prize. In an interview with Legit TV, he stated that his mother is his first priority, then added that people who showed him, love, through his journey in the house, will also benefit.
If you could recall on the 27th of September, 2020, Laycon emerged as winner of the reality show with a high percentage of 60%.
In a video that is making the rounds of social media, Davido was spotted jokingly telling Laycon to give him some money.

After Laycon emerged as winner of Big Brother, the reality show released a list of how housemates got their percentage of votes.
Laycon, winner of the reality show came out on top with 60 percent of votes while Dorathy, first runner up came out with 21 percent of votes. Nengi, second runner up came out with 15 percent. Neo and Vee both came out with 1.94 and 1.16 percent.

Laycon emerges as winner of big brother season 5 after beating finalists in the persons of Dorathy, Neo, Vee, and Nengi.
Dorathy emerges as the first runner up while Nengi emerged as second runner up.
Shortly after he was called a dirty boy on the reality show, Kiddwaya unfollowed Nengi on his Instagram page.
If you could recall, Nengi claimed that even if Kiddwaya is quite handsome, she cannot be attracted to him because he is dirty.

Finalist of Big Brother Naija Season 5 has come out to express her feelings towards billionaire son, Kiddwaya.
While discussing with other housemates in the house, Nengi refused to be paired with kiddwaya even after declaring that she liked him as a friend and brother.
Nengi claimed she is attracted to guys that are clean and he is not one of them. She even gave an example of how he left the HOH lounge.
Neo and other housemates concurred to what she claimed by stating that he doesn't bathe well.
Finalist of Big Brother season 5, Nengi has revealed what she feels about Kiddwaya who was rumored to have something with her.
According to Nengi who was conversing with other housemates in the garden, he is handsome but he is not someone she can like in a romantic way because of the kind of person he is.
In Nengi words;
“Kiddwaya is really handsome but he is someone I can never like “like that” because of the type of person he is”.

Last night in Big Brother house, all of the evicted housemates met with the current finalist in house for the normal Saturday party, except Erica who was disqualified from the reality show.
The evicted housemates did see the finalists but didn't come in contact with them because of a glass that separated them.
After the party, Nengi complained bitterly about Ozo and other evicted housemates. She claimed that they all snubbed her.
Dorathy, Neo, Laycon, and Vee tried to console her but she insisted that her relationship with Ozo will be over when she leaves the house.

Last night in the house, Vee spoke about her relationship with Neo to Laycon. According to her, Neo cannot handle her fame and cannot make her happy.
She further went ahead to say that they should both separate. This is coming after a recent fight that occurred two days back.
In Vee words;
“He wouldn’t be able to handle the fame and attention I’ll get outside.''
If Neo wants to be happy I am not the person for him and if I want to be happy, he is not the person for me.
“We are two different people who want different things in a relationship.”
Finalist of Big Brother Season 5, Laycon has disclosed that he will look out for Erica when the reality show ends on Sunday, 27th of September, 2020.
If you could recall before Erica disqualification from the reality show, she had threatened to kill Laycon outside the show.
Now, in a discussion with Neo, Laycon disclosed that Erica is one of the housemates he will look out for when the reality show ends.
In laycon words;
“After we leave here, there are certain people I’m still going to look out for. You [Neo], Vee and Erica are part of this list.
“You know what you need. Sometimes it is good to follow what you want…”
While in a conversation with the other housemates at the garden, Laycon made a statement that left viewers of the reality show shocked.
He stated that he and the current housemates are finalists and he does not roll with people that have been disqualified. Dorathy then told Laycon that those words are too sensitive to say in the house.
If you could recall, Erica was disqualified from the reality show after breaching Big brother rules on different occasions.

According to Nengi, Laycon is an intelligent and great guy. Also, majority of the DJ that visits the house on Saturday night party always hail him.
In Nengi words;
“ I feel like watching from the outside, viewers will like him. I have always felt he is a strong competitor
Anytime Djs come to the party they always hail him.”
Earlier that day, Neo and Vee had issues, so Neo wanted to please her by washing her panties. Nengi who was shocked told vee she is a lucky girl.

BBNaija finalist, Dorathy has reconciled with Nengi after apologizing to her. She further went ahead to give reasons why she distanced herself from her.
According to Dorathy, she felt that Nengi was playing a game and needed the attention of all the male housemates. She admitted that she judged her wrongly and apologized to Nengi. Nengi on the other hand stated that she never beefed her for once.
In Dorahy words;
“I distanced myself from you because I didn’t like your game.
“I read the situation wrongly and felt you were playing a game of trying to get attention and have all the male housemates.
“There was also a miscommunication too. I hated how I was being referred to as the one causing problems between you and Ozo.
I like to run away from anything that would kill my vibes and make me look like a jealous person.
“It was hard being on Ozo’s side and not painting you as a bad person.
“I apologise for judging you wrongly, let’s be friends henceforth.”
Big Brother housemate and finalist, laycon has revealed that he is scared of being a celebrity or carrying fame around.
The best graduating student in Philosophy (2016) revealed that he doesn't want to lose himself in the process. While also conversing with Nengi, he revealed that being an artist will make him be famous but he doesn't want it to affect him negatively.
In Laycon words;
“I pray I don’t lose myself with the fame from this house. I’m scared of fame, new people and how to handle them.
“People have treated me differently once when I had a popular song and that’s hard to deal with.
“Anyway regardless of whatever level of fame, I have people who will always check me.”
Current housemate, Vee has blasted recenty evicted housemate, Ozo for nominating her for eviction. If you could recall, Vee has been up for eviction on three occasions before last week where the evition process took a twist.
Vee finding out that Ozo nominated her for evicion reacted angrily by calling him a bastard and agent of evil. In Vee words;
“I can’t believe that Ozo wanted me to go. Bastard. I’m still here, agent of evil.”

Current housemate of BBN Season 5, Nengi has revealed why she cried on Sunday after Ozo got evicted from the reality show. According to her, she made a big lie by telling him that she doesn't care about him and the reason she cried was because of the problems they both had during the week.
In Nengi words;
“The reason I was so emotional yesterday was not even because Ozo left. We had already talked about it the previous day that whatever happens at this stage we are all winners we will just sit down and gist about it,”
“We’ve already had that discussion so it was not really about him leaving. It was what had happened the previous day on Saturday.
“We were having an argument and he came to me and was ‘like you know I’m up for eviction let’s try and settle this thing out’. Anger is a very bad thing. Because of anger I was like, ‘I don’t care’ which, by the way, is the biggest lie ever.”
