The two officials of the United Nations mission in Israel who were seen in a viral video having s3x in an official vehicle have been suspended without pay.

After the s3x video went viral, the United Nations officials who were featured carrying out the acts in their official vehicle while driving down a major street in Tel Aviv have been suspended without pay.

In a statement released on Thursday, July 2, the UN said the men in the video have been identified as staff members of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), UN military observers based in Israel.

The spokesman for the UN’s secretary-general, Stéphane Dujarric, told BBC;

“Their suspension was appropriate given the seriousness of the allegations of failing to observe the standards of conduct expected of international civil servants.

“UNTSO has re-engaged in a robust awareness-raising campaign to remind its personnel of their obligations to the UN Code of Conduct.”

The UN maintains strict regulations barring sexual misconduct by staffers and has come under fire for violations in recent years. A report by the UN confirmed 175 allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse by staffers in 2019. Sixteen claims were substantiated, fifteen were found to be unsubstantiated, and the rest are still investigated.

Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, senior pastor of Christ Embassy, during a live sermon on Wednesday, July 1, said what is happening to churches with regards to the guidelines qualifies fully as persecution.

In his words;

”What is happening to Christians and Churches qualifies fully as persecution because in many countries, many states and many cities, people are allowed to go to the shops, market places, crowded places for hours without wearing a mask.

“Nobody cares about social distancing…and yet we have those who have the audacity and the foolishness to go into churches and say they are monitoring churches because the virus only attacks people who go to church”

The Indian government has banned TikTok, Helo, WeChat and 56 other Chinese mobile applications, to counter the threat posed by these applications to its “sovereignty and security”.

The ban came amid escalating tensions along the disputed border between the two countries. Relations between the world’s two most populous nations have been strained following the deaths of 20 Indian troops in hand-to-hand fighting with their Chinese counterparts on the western end of the high-altitude, the contested border in mid-June.

India’s Ministry of Information Technology cited complaints about data on Indian users being transferred abroad without authorisation, said the ban was imposed under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009. The ministry said;

“The compilation of these data, its mining and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defence of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India, is a matter of very deep and immediate concern which requires emergency measures.”

TikTok has now reacted to the ban in its own statement, saying;

“Building empowered local management teams in the countries where TikTok operates, including India, has been critical to our global success.

“While the Government of India has issued an interim order to block 59 apps, our team of around 2,000 employees in India is committed to working with the government to demonstrate our dedication to user security and our commitment to the country overall.

“We are proud to provide hundreds of millions of users in India – and around the world – a creative platform for their stories, performances, education, and, often, a way to make their livelihood.”

India’s TikTok influencers are now urging their fans to follow them on other social media platforms after the government announced the ban.

As news of the ban came into effect, TikTok creators began to post videos with their Instagram handles and YouTube links.

Actress Shraddha Arya deleted all her TikTok posts except for one listing her Instagram and Facebook handle.
Some creators even posted videos about how to use Instagram.

Others posted farewell videos with the hashtag #ByeTikTok, saying they agreed with the government’s move and would delete their accounts from the app.

In an interview with India TV, actress Ashnoor Kaur, who has 3.2 million followers on TikTok, celebrated the government’s move saying it presented an opportunity for India to become self-sufficient and use homegrown apps.

“I am really happy with this decision and I’m totally in support of it,” she said, adding, “your country comes first.”

The Federal Government has suspended the airline, Executive Jet Services, for flying Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert

This was disclosed by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, during a Presidential Task Force briefing in Abuja.

According to the Minister, the aircraft was approved to convey an Appeal Court Judge, Justice Adefope Okogie, from Lagos to Abuja.

He said,

“The operation is a clear violation of our approval which we take very seriously. It seems this is becoming a norm. This is the second time. So, Executive Jet Services is hereby suspended indefinitely and they will face the law.

“The captain will also be sanctioned for giving wrong information to the control tower. It seems also that people are not tired of trying our resolve and we are not tired of living up to our responsibilities. Governance is a serious matter.”

He further stated that, henceforth, there will be stricter procedures before granting approvals for private flights.

He said,

“The person on that flight conducted a concert. We approved a flight, certainly not for a musician. The flight was approved to convey Honourable Justice Adefope Okogie from Lagos to Abuja and then back to Lagos for an official assignment.

“In this challenging time, in our wisdom, we decided that the judiciary was part of the essential services. Moving a judge from Lagos to Abuja was in order.”

The acting chairman of the anti-graft agency, EFCC, has reacted to the arrest of Instagram celebrity, Ramon Igbalode popularly known as Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi was on Wednesday, June 10 arrested in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) alongside his colleagues by International Police (INTERPOL) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for alleged fraud.

In an interview with TVC, Magu said the commission is not involved in Hushpuppi's arrest.

“We are yet to be involved in the case of Hushpuppi, but if they happen to give us this thing (details) we would assist.” Magu said
The antigraft agency boss in the interview denied the allegation that the agency is mostly interested in the arrest and prosecution of internet fraudsters. He said the Commission also rehabilitates the suspects arrested for internet fraud.

“We are not all about arresting, prosecuting and chasing of internet fraudsters, and taking away the proceeds of their crime, but we are also trying to see whether we can rehabilitate them. Because most of this boys are either undergraduate or graduate from higher institutions, so they can be better people to our country.

The menace of Yahoo boys is also a course of concern, we are collaborating with other law enforcement agencies.

Yahoo boys have an association with their mothers who do not feel what their children are doing is a crime actually. It is called the “Yahoo Yahoo Mothers Association, a suitation where the mother would go abroad and the child would stay there and help them syphon funds from credit card fraud.

So we are doing everything possible to arrest the situation” he said

Did any of you see “First Lady” in my bio?
My TL is for language, humor, and other light-hearted issues. I don’t tweet about serious matters like governance and politics. Though I’m married to a governor I’m not a part of the government. I swore no oath.

Jamil Abubakar, an IRS Airline staff who survived an air crash once, spoke about his life as a pilot in an interview with YES INTERNATIONAL – MAGAZINE on the 22nd of NOVEMBER 2014, and here are excerpts from the interview;

Away from the horrible experience, what do you like about being a pilot?

I love speed. My friend sitting with me here knows that right from my time as a kid that I love speed. Before now, I used to ride power bikes. You can see some scars on my body. It has even gone. I ride a lot. I love fast stuff. I am sure I have told you this before. My dream of becoming a pilot started at age 4. Why I am referring to all these things is because I don’t know how to explain it. It is just an amazing thing! I wish I can find a better word to say it. It is something that I love. If I don’t work for anybody and if I have money, I will buy an aeroplane, I will keep flying myself all around. Yes, it is something that I love. Even after this crash, it has not stopped me to do what I love to do best. I like it. It is not a professional job, it is my hobby.

Can you tell us what you don’t like about flying?

I think what I don’t like about flying is a basic thing that everybody would not like to face. Everybody is weary of accidents. And we are trying as much as possible to prevent or avoid it from happening. Sometimes, if it comes, yes! What I don’t like about flying? Actually, I think I love everything about flying. I have never regretted flying. The only time I had a regret was during my initial training, because we went through some worse stuff. So that if we encounter them in the future, your experience will count. It is not going to be new to you. Besides that, there is nothing I don’t like about flying really.

Obviously God has been nice to you. He saved your life from the air crash, what more do you want from God?

(Laughs) Heaven! I say heaven. There is no limit to the good things the people actually want from God. Everybody wants everything from God. Even God can keep blessing you till eternity. That is exactly what I want from Him. I want more from God. I will keep singing His praise and continue giving glory to Almighty God, even in bad times, not only in good times.

Can you tell us when you are getting married?

Ha, ha, ha! It is not finding a wife fast. I think what you need is a life partner. I mean, long lasting relationship, because I am a one-wife person. So, I don’t want to marry and divorce. I want to marry for the right reason. I don’t want to marry because every other person is getting married or I feel I am getting old or my family is saying you must marry, you must marry, because in my family we respect everybody’s decision. They are not on my neck or on my case. I know that the time will come. I did not say it’s going to take 10 years, 5 years, 2 years or one year, but definitely the time will come.

Top Nigerian Singers, Wizkid and Davido who many thought are having serious issues, over what folks tagged as “The Battle of Supremacy”, were seen performing together at Wizzy’s concert, #WizkidTheConcert this morning.

Staboy, Wizkid joined Davido to perform “Fia” at the concert which took place December 24 at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
We would recall that Davido, while receiving his award at The Future Awards Africa 2017, had said that he is not fighting anyone in the industry as many believe.
Also in an Interview with Sunday Scoop, Wizzy, as he is fondly called made it known he does not see Davido as a rival as his attention is placed on making good music.
In his words;
“I don’t dwell on things like that. Music is my focus, not rivalry. It’s all about making good music for me, and I believe that the sky is wide enough for all to fly. This year has been very great for me and I am thankful to God and all my fans. I have been very busy and it has been a roller-coaster for me. I don’t take it for granted, and I will always put my best into all that I do. It is about showcasing Nigeria to the world in the proper light, and I am glad that there is now more focus on African music. There are indeed a lot of talents out here.”
