3 suspects have been formally handed to the police by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF). The 3 suspects are Mr Nehemiah Adejoh, Mr. Igbekele Folorunsho, and Mr. Festus Gbayegun.

Giving short highlights of the incident during the handover at the NAF Base Kaduna, the 453 Base Services Group Commander, Group Captain Hadi Ahmed, clearly had the insight of how a KIA Serento SUV, with Registration Number AZ 478 MKA (Kaduna), driven by Mr. Adejoh, with the 2 others as passengers, hit Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile on 14 July 2020, at about 4.30pm, when she was passing by along Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa Road in NAF Base Kaduna, resulting to her ultimate death.

Group Captain Ahmed also discussed on how the 3 persons got involved in the accident, who were former schoolmates of the late Flying Officer at the Air Force Secondary School Kaduna,  and were en route to visit the spouse of a serving senior officer living in the Base before the incident occurred.

He also claimed that the NAF would never stop to work together with the Nigeria Police and render all needed support to allow it to carry forward the case to its logical conclusion.
