Cristiano Ronaldo drops down the pecking order as Lionel Messi becomes richest footballer

For some years, Cristiano Ronaldo topped the list in terms of the richest player in the world. But recent reports coming from France Football states that Messi gets 120 million euros annually while Cristiano Ronaldo gets 109 million euros annually, despite the fact that the latter collects 688 thousand euros per week, beating Messi who only collect 500 thousand euros. 

Other football players in the top ten highest-paid footballers are Neymar, Bale, Mbappe, Greizmann, Hazard, and so on.
