Six time ballon do'r winner, Lionel Messi has confirmed he will be staying at Barcelona for 20/21 season. He confirmed this to goal when he was interviewed earlier this evening.
If you could recall, he sent a message to Barcelona of his willingness to leave the club after an embarrassing defeat to Bayern Munich in the champions league.
He confirmed to leave the club but didn't want to go to court because he felt it will bring a sad end.
Messi has a 700 million euros release clause which must be paid in full before he leaves the club. Of course, no football club can afford his release clause considering the fact that coronavirus affected income of many football clubs.
Man city and PSG were rumoured to be in the market for him.
